Rolling the Hills is an association that offers alternatives to current lifestyle models by promoting environmentally friendly practices. In particular, we highlight bicycle travel as a way to explore the world while minimizing ecological impact. Our goal is to raise awareness among a broad audience, especially young adolescents, about the challenges of ecological transition by offering them a new vision: a more mindful lifestyle, closer to nature, where adventure goes hand in hand with responsibility. Through interactive workshops and discussions, we invite the public to reflect and adopt a different, more sustainable model to build a future in harmony with the planet.
The name of the association, Rolling the Hills, reflects both our passion for cycling and the gentle, undulating landscapes often called rolling hills. But it also symbolizes the rollercoaster of life, with its highs and lows. No matter the challenges, we keep moving forward—and we invite you to join us on this exciting adventure.
Rolling the Hills was founded in the summer of 2024, and we are currently expanding our activities, especially with the production of our first documentary film, When You Will Journey North. This project will serve as a platform to organize screening and discussion workshops. While our target audience is broad, we particularly focus on young adolescents, offering them alternative models of how to engage with the world.
In October 2024 we successfully launched a crowdfunding campain to finance the post-production of our film. Thank you to everyone for this huge support !
